I'm Viento Huijser.
I build business software from the Netherlands, on my own. Not an agency — when you hire me you get the person who designs the thing, writes it, puts it on the server, and picks up the phone when it misbehaves.
I came at this from the operational side rather than from computer science, and it shows in what I build. The awkward exception your team works around every Tuesday interests me more than the architecture diagram. Every system on this site started with somebody describing a job that was taking too long.

How I tend to work
Small and working beats big and planned
You get something usable early. It is far easier to say what is wrong with a screen you can click than with a document you have to imagine.
Boring technology, on purpose
I pick tools that will still be maintained in five years over whatever is new this month. Your business will outlast the fashion cycle in frameworks.
Plain language
I will explain a trade-off in terms of what it costs you, not in terms of what it is called. If I cannot do that, I probably do not understand it well enough yet.
